The Oyo Hospitals Management Board has announced the shortlisting of 1,250 candidates from a pool of 5,000 applicants for a forthcoming Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) examination.
After a rigorous review process involving representatives from key government agencies, including the Head of Service, Civil Service Commission, Ministry of Establishment and Training, and the Oyo Hospitals Management Board, 1,000 applicants were deemed professionally qualified to sit for the examination.
According to Dr. Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, the slight delay in conducting the examination was necessary to ensure administrative convenience and adherence to necessary protocols, given the critical nature of healthcare.
Dr. Fagbemi expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for his continuous support throughout the recruitment process. He also urged all applicants to check their email addresses and mobile phones for important updates regarding the examination details.
The MCQ examination will assess the professional competence and knowledge of current affairs of the shortlisted candidates, paving the way for the selection of qualified health professionals to join the Oyo State healthcare workforce.
