NAOSS Disassociates Self from Ongoing Nationwide Protest

The National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) National Headquarters has issued a press statement announcing its decision not to participate in the planned national protest scheduled for August 1 to10. The protest, tagged #EndBadGovernance, aims to draw attention of the President Bola Tinubu-led government to the pressing issues of hunger and rising cost of living faced by many Nigerians.

According to the press statement made available to newsmen, NAOSS National Headquarters decided not to participate in the protest after careful evaluation of the potential outcomes and risks associated with the protest. The association prioritizes the safety and security of its members and believes that participating in the protest may not align with its strategic approach to achieving long-term solutions.
