Makinde Approves Hazard Allowance for OYRTMA Officers

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has approved a hazard allowance for personnels of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA).

The approval was announced during the passing outt parade of the newly recruited 500 OYRTMA personnels that took place at the NYSC Orientation Camp. He noted that the hazard allowance will take effect from 1st August, 2024.

According to Governor Makinde, the approval recognises the agency’s achievements in road management across the state. He stated that the allowance would serve as a morale booster, encouraging greater effectiveness and efficiency in their work.

The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the state workforce, and assured that that his administration will continue to prioritise the wellbeing of its workers.

“I heard your request for hazard allowance, and it’s approved with effect from 1st of August, 2024,” Makinde said.
