The Acting Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdulraheem Bayo Lawal, on behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde, has commissioned a newly built mosque named Al-Haqdeen Central Mosque founded by Khalifah Sheikh Dhikirullah Yusuf also known as Agbara Je T’olohun.
The acting Governor, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, who represented Governor Seyi Makinde at the commissioning ceremony held at Orile Iyanu, Ikumapayi Olodo in Ibadan, noted that His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, visited the mosque while it was still under construction during the 2023 electioneering campaign and expressed gratitude to Allah for its completion.

The acting governor who promised to be a member of the Islamic association just as the Aare of Musulumi of Yoruba Land, Edo and Delta States, stated that he would never cease his contributions towards the growth of Islam in the state. He commended Sheikh Yusuf for his giant strides towards the cause of Islam stressing that the central mosque is a huge project that will benefit the Muslims living around the area.
Barr. Lawal however called on Muslims to adequately maintain the center for the progress of Islam.
He said: “On behalf of His Excellency, Seyi Makinde, I thank you for your support during the 2023 election and we are happy that the election was a success.

“So, I urge you to keep supporting the current administration and continue to pray for the administration for the peaceful atmosphere currently enjoyed by the good people of Oyo state.”
Earlier in his welcome address, the founder of the central mosque, Sheikh Dhikirullah Yusuf appreciated the presence of Oyo acting Governor and other well wishers who graced the occasion.
In his sermon, guest lecturer Sheikh Ajani Bello praised the central mosque’s founder for his contributions to the cause of Allah and urged him to hold fast to his beliefs.

He equally urged him to continue teaching his followers that Allah alone is deserving of all respect and authority, and to exercise excellent leadership as a religious leader.
