BREAKING: Private Jet Carrying 10 VIPs Crash Lands-in Ibadan


A private aircraft carrying approximately 10 individuals, including Very Important Personalities (VIPs), has crash landed in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

According to a report by Channels, the jet, with the registration number N580KR, experienced a mishap on Friday around 11 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, overshooting the runway and coming to a halt in a nearby bush. Fortunately, no fatalities or injuries were reported.

In response to the incident, Carol Adekotujo, a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), stated, “It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty.”

Following the emergency landing, firefighting teams and rescue personnel from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were promptly dispatched to the scene to ensure the safety of the passengers and assess the situation.

Tunji Oketunmbi, a representative for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, mentioned that he would provide further details on the matter but had not done so at the time of this report.
