Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro, renowned as Bibire, has joined the host of others from all walks of life to celebrate the Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Prince Adebowale Adebayo Falana, on the occasion of his one year in office.
Bibire, in a statement he made available to the press, described Prince Falana’s first twelve months as a testament to what is possible when vision meets action and passion is directed toward service.
The chieftain of the PDP commended the Chairman for surpassing expectations and driving laudable programmes that have positively impacted the lives and ambitions of Oyo State youth.
Bibire noted that Prince Falana has not only initiated impactful projects but has also ensured their sustainability in ways that reflect foresight and genuine commitment to the future of the state.
He equally praised him for never treating issues concerning youth development as an afterthought and for placing due premium on youth engagement in the broader discourse of governance and state-building.
According to Honourable Bibire, “Prince Falana’s tenure so far has given the youth a sense of belonging, relevance, and confidence in the government’s intention to build with them and for them.”

He further commended His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde for appointing Prince Falana as Chairman of the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, stating that one year after the appointment, the results have justified the confidence reposed in him.
In his words, “The decision of Governor Seyi Makinde to appoint Prince Falana one year ago has now proven to be productive, as the agency under his leadership has shown a clear direction, youth-focused impact, and commendable commitment to development.”
Bibire also expressed his appreciation to Otunba Seye Famojuro for consistently standing behind the advancement of youth in critical areas of leadership and decision-making within the state.
According to him, “Otunba Seye Famojuro remains one of the few who understand that the strength of any society lies in the boldness of its young leaders, and his backing for youths in key offices has continued to reflect positively on the pace and energy of development in Oyo State.”
The first-class philanthropist, however, urged him to continue on this path of transformational leadership, reiterating that the state is taking note and the youth are the better for it.
He concluded by expressing his confidence that greater exploits still lie ahead for the agency under Prince Falana’s stewardship, as he continues to raise the bar in youth-focused governance.
He prayed for more strength, wisdom, and other needed essentials for the Chairman to continue on the noble path he has chosen, and affirmed that “Oyo State’s future is indeed bright with such leadership at the helm of youth affairs.”
