Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Adeleke, officially swore in the newly appointed Chairman of the Governing Council for the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun, today.
The ceremony, held at the Executive Council Chambers Lounge in the Governor’s office, underscored the college’s important role in advancing education in southwestern Nigeria.
“Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun is one of the leading educational institutions in the southwestern region, having produced many great thinkers, educators, and notable figures,” Adeleke remarked.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye, the Governor commended the college for its legacy of fostering distinguished educators and leaders. He expressed confidence in Mr. Sarafa Akinyele’s expertise and qualifications.
The Governor highlighted Akinyele’s extensive academic background, noting that it would greatly benefit both the college and the state.
“With all the positive feedback about Mr. Sarafa Akinyele, his appointment is truly fitting,” Adeleke added.
He concluded by congratulating Akinyele on his appointment and wishing him success in his new position.
